Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise campers during swim and boating times (lake, pool, or waterfront area).

• Maintain constant visual surveillance of participants and act quickly in emergencies.

• Enforce camp and water safety rules in a firm, fair, and consistent manner.

• Conduct safety checks of waterfront areas and report hazards immediately.

• Assist with the setup, breakdown, and basic maintenance of waterfront equipment.

• Provide first aid or CPR as needed until advanced medical help arrives.

• Participate in brief daily check-ins or safety briefings with camp staff.

• Demonstrate Christian values through leadership, integrity, and respect.

• Current Lifeguard Certification (American Red Cross, YMCA, or equivalent).

• Current CPR/AED and First Aid Certification.

• Experience working with youth or in a camp setting preferred.

• Must be at least 18 years old

• Willingness to uphold Catholic values and be a positive role model.

• Sunday: ~2 hours

• Monday-Thursday: ~3-5 hours/day

• Friday: ~1 hour

• No overnight duty; only active during aquatic program blocks.
