Advocacy Coordinator

ORGANIZATION: ELENAS LIGHT INC

The Advocacy Coordinator at Elena’s Light will lead efforts to expand and strengthen the organization’s legal education and advocacy programming for refugee and immigrant women. This part- time, hybrid position involves coordinating workshops, presentations, and outreach efforts that improve access to rights- based information. Key responsibilities include managing the advocacy team, fostering partnerships with legal and community organizations, promoting awareness through social media and community engagement, and supporting the organization through grant writing and fundraising efforts.

Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s degree ( preferably in Law, Political Science, or a related field), at least three years of experience in legal advocacy or public policy, and a strong understanding of legal issues affecting immigrant and refugee communities. Strong communication, research, and leadership skills are essential. A demonstrated commitment to equity and the mission of Elena’s Light is a must. Experience with grant writing and cross- organizational collaboration is a plus.
