Transport Liaison Volunteer - The Ride to Conquer Cancer (Toronto Venue)

Help our participants know where they need to be and how to get there - support our rider transport program!

This role collaborates closely with bus drivers and riders to facilitate participant and volunteer movement throughout the event. As a Transport Liaison, you may be accompanying a driver on the road, identifying precise bus stop locations, and ensuring passengers board the correct bus. Transport Liaisons are also stationed at venues, facilitating passenger boarding and disembarkation on event shuttles. Transport Liaisons will possess a thorough knowledge of shuttle pick-up points, ensuring a smooth transport experience for drivers and passengers.

Must have:

• a minimum of 18 years old
• customer service
• good communication skills
• ability to read transport schedule
• ease and familiarity using technology such as iPads
• comfortable working alone
• ability to work in all types of weather

We offer reference letters upon completion of your shift. This is a volunteer role. :)

Information about the event:

The Ride to Conquer Cancer is a unique, two-day cycling event on June 7th and 8th, 2025.

Participants will cycle over 200 kilometers between Toronto and Niagara-on-the-Lake, and camp overnight in Hamilton (the half-way point). The Ride to Conquer Cancer is Canada’s largest and most impactful cycling fundraiser. Volunteers are at the core of our operations and play a critical role in achieving our mission. Thank you!
