Quinault Interpretation & Education Volunteer

Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: USDA Forest Service

Join the Olympic National Forest and our partner, the Coastal Interpretive Center (CIC), this summer at the Lake Quinault Rainforest! We're looking for volunteers who are passionate about our rainforest and interested in educating trail-users and learning about trail-use habits. Individuals will serve as official Forest Service volunteers and be supervised by a CIC staff member.

In June, July, and August 2025 we'll be hosting a variety of trailhead tables, guided nature walks, and interpretive campfire talks in the Lake Quinault area - and we need your help!

We're looking for a small cadre of volunteers to help at tabling events, on hikes, and during talks. These programs will take place Thursday to Sunday from June 12th - August 31. Training will start the week of June 9.

No prior knowledge needed, and training will be provided. We can accommodate flexible schedules (Thursday - Sunday) and shifts (4- or 8-hour options), and can develop a schedule that works with you.

We will require a background check as part of the onboarding (which involves no-cost fingerprinting at a location nearest to you).

Come join us in the amazing Quinault valley this summer!

Start Date - 2025-06-09
