Mildrie’s Road Foundation Inc. is seeking dedicated volunteers to help us serve families and communities affected by the California fires. We're preparing and distributing much-needed supplies to local churches, schools, and directly to families in the Altadena and Pasadena areas.

Volunteer Tasks Include:

  • Sorting donated goods

  • Packing care packages

  • Organizing supplies for delivery

  • Assisting families on-site who come to receive resources

Who Can Help:

  • Volunteers ages 16+

  • Individuals, student groups, faith-based groups, and service organizations

  • No experience needed - just bring your energy and heart for helping others

Your time and hands will help bring comfort, stability, and support to people recovering from the devastating impact of California’s recent fires.

Founded in honor of Mildrie Martin, a lifelong advocate for education and community empowerment, the foundation works to break the cycle of poverty by equipping individuals with the tools they need to succeed in life.

Our programs include literacy and numeracy initiatives, vocational training in areas such as solar installation and construction, and community-based projects that foster self-sufficiency and personal growth. We focus on serving populations that face significant barriers to success, including formerly incarcerated individuals and underserved youth, offering them the opportunity to rebuild their lives and contribute to their communities.
