Veteran Mobile Food Distribution Coordinator

Help organize and oversee all operations for our monthly mobile food distribution at a designated site. This position requires a highly motivated individual with leadership qualities, operation and event planning skills which are required to execute a mobile food distribution. The MFD coordinator should have a love for VA special event management, be enthusiastic, and be able to build relationships with internal and external volunteers and service providers. Exceptional communication skills, including writing, proof reading skills, and speaking should be qualities that the MFD coordinator possesses. The aptitude to manage multiple projects and work assignments from a variety of staff and volunteers is preferred. Outstanding interpersonal skills both in person and by phone, with sharp professionalism along with the ability to accomplish projects with little supervision. The MFD coordinator must be highly organized with strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work with a diverse variety of individuals.
