AccentCare Hospice is seeking U.S. Military Veterans to participate in Veteran's Pinning Ceremonies for our patients at their homes in the Greater Denver Area. Our "pinning ceremonies" include prayer, song, and recognition for military service by our hospice team, including chaplain and music therapy. Having a fellow Veteran participate in the ceremony by presenting a challenge coin or just a simple handshake can make an incredible impression on our Veteran patients at the end of their lives. Time commitment is minimal, but the opportunity to give and recieve joy and meaning abounds in this volunteer opportunity!
