This role supports the intake process by coordinating and confirming intake volunteers the week prior to intake. The Intake Volunteer Coordinator also works with new intake support volunteers to get them placed on a team for training. We're looking for someone with strong organization and communication skills and experience working in Google Spreadsheets. The person filling this role will shadow and train with a volunteer currently doing the role. This is a remote position that requires a once a month 2-4 hour commitment.

Description
Safe Hands Rescue was founded in 2006 and has continued to grow and save more dogs and cats every year. We focus on saving animals from SE Kentucky, an impoverished area with great need. With underfunded shelters and lack of access to affordable spay and neuter programs. We partner with several shelters in the Chicago area and Twin Cities to save as many animals as possible. We often take animals that other groups pass up due to health issues. Our commitment is to help every adoptable animal in the shelter make it out alive.
