Do you have a skill you’d like to share with our youth program participants? Volunteer to teach skills/activities like dance, art, STEM, chess, sports, and more to children who are eager to learn!
Schedule - We have school year and summer Youth Programs that run Monday through Friday from around 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, depending on the program and location. Flexible scheduling - we’ll work with you to determine a volunteer schedule based on your availability!
Program Participants - Our program participants range in age from 2 - 14, depending on location and program type, including Preschool Programs, Afterschool Programs, and Summer Day Camp Programs.
Locations - Various locations throughout Salt Lake, Weber, Davis, and Park City (summer only)
Required Volunteer Credentials - Interview (phone or video), Background Check, Reference Check, Online Training Course, YMCA Policy Agreements

Working with the Y gives volunteers an opportunity to see the changes that are being made in the community through service. Our volunteers work directly with children in afterschool programs, provide administrative support, and - most importantly - help us continue to meets the needs of our community!
