ORGANIZATION: Advocates for Children

Advocates for Children is an organization of dedicated, skilled professionals and compassionate volunteers committed to the well-being of children, youth and families. Through comprehensive advocacy and unwavering support, we strengthen our communities across Northwest Georgia.

We have 9 different programs within our organization and many of them are in need of volunteers in different capacities. Our volunteers are vital to the work we do and the impact we make with our clients. If you would like to mentor a youth or young adult, a new family needing direction, or a teen in our shelter we would love to have you. We also have volunteer needs sorting our donations for clients and helping provide meals to our clients in our Resident Housing program.

If you are interested in any of these positions, please reach out to Alicia Newton, Volunteer Coordinator for more specific information. Email to alicia@advochild.org or call 770-387-1143, ext. 238.
