Event: Park Clean Up
Purpose: To clean the park in common areas in preparation of our annual BioBlitz and after memorial weekend. There will be two separate opportunities to volunteer.
When and Where:

What to Expect:
- 9am Little River Canyon Falls: We will meet in the parking lot, sign waivers, pick up our tools, and begin cleaning up. Plan to begin arriving around 8:45 to give yourself time to complete any forms and to receive the safety brief. The areas intended to clean are the parking lot, the boardwalk, the trail and down into the hippie hole. We will break off into smaller groups to cover more area within our time allotment. We will wrap up by 11am or sooner as the mission is completed.
- 12pm Visitor Center: We will meet in the visitor center to sign waivers, pick up our tools, and to begin cleaning up. Plan to begin arriving around 11:45 to give yourself time to complete any forms and to receive the safety brief. The areas intended to clean are the parking lots, around the visitor center, and the JSU field. We will break into smaller groups to achieve the mission quicker. We will wrap up the cleaning by 1 pm or sooner if we get done.
Uniforms: You will wear pants or shorts with tennis shoes/ hiking shoes. We will provide a temporary brightly colored t shirt to wear while cleaning up. Once the event is over, we will collect the shirts back to wash and fold for the next event.
What to bring: You may choose to bring bug spray and sunscreen. You will need to bring water with you. we have a station to fill up your bottles as needed.
