Piscataway Park Shoreline Cleanup

Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: National Park Service

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.

Volunteering is a great way to come out of your shell.

Head on down to Piscataway Park on May 24 to clean up the shoreline with the Accokeek Foundation! A haven for wildlife situated along the Potomac River, the park unfortunately also harbors litter that collects on its banks, and we need to remove it so both animals and visitors have a safe, clean place to explore.

Gather at the visitor center at 11:30 AM to meet Foundation members who will provide all supplies and orientation. As you will be working near water on rugged terrain, please wear sturdy shoes or boots you don't mind getting wet.

Sign up to join this important event today, and please also register with the Foundation to secure your attendance and receive further details!
