Role Summary:

The Project Manager - Web Development will be responsible for building and managing a team of volunteer or freelance developers to improve and maintain the organization’s digital platforms, including the website, virtual support group scheduling system, and resource access tools. This role is critical for scaling Lorelei Molinari’s global mental health support services through accessible, reliable, and user-friendly technology.



Key Responsibilities:

Team Recruitment & Leadership:
* Identify and recruit web developers, UI/UX designers, and other technical volunteers aligned with the organization’s mission.
* Define clear roles and responsibilities for technical team members.
* Provide regular guidance, feedback, and support to keep the team engaged and productive.

Project Planning & Coordination:
* Translate organizational needs into technical projects (e.g., updating group registration systems, building member dashboards, improving accessibility).
* Create and manage timelines, sprint plans, and deliverables for ongoing and upcoming projects.
* Track progress using project management tools (e.g., Asana, Microsoft Planner).

Technical Oversight:
* Ensure best practices in code quality, data privacy, and accessibility.
* Coordinate with web hosting and domain providers to manage deployments and downtime.

Stakeholder Communication:
* Act as a bridge between Lorelei Molinari and the tech team-ensuring technical work aligns with organizational goals.
* Present updates and reports on development progress and challenges.



Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience managing web development or digital product teams
* Basic understanding of front-end/back-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, CMS platforms like WordPress)
* Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
* Passion for mental health, accessibility, and community driven platforms
* Experience working with remote/volunteer teams is a strong plus

At Lorelei Molinari Home of Mental Health Info & Support Groups, we are a fully volunteer-led global online charity dedicated to peer support and compassionate mental health care. Built upon empathy and shared experiences, our organization creates welcoming spaces for meaningful conversations around Autism, ADHD, Anxiety, Social Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, Depression, Loneliness, and PTSD. Our strength comes from our diverse team of volunteer Peer Support Specialists who use their own lived experiences or caregiving journeys to inspire hope, resilience, and understanding in others. Through supportive online groups, personal engagement, and empowering connections, we break down barriers, reduce stigma, and foster a profound sense of belonging. Every volunteer brings authenticity and kindness, demonstrating the transformative power of genuine human connection.
