On Sunday, June 15, 2025, join us for a fun-filled day at the 12th annual Princess Margaret Journey to Conquer Cancer, an event dedicated to advancing life-changing cancer research at The Princess Margaret. Thousands of participants will come together to walk or run 1 km, 3 km, or 5 km to Carry The Fire for cancer research.

Volunteers play a crucial role in bringing this event to life. Whether assisting with the opening ceremony, supporting our participants along the route, or managing the finish line, your time, skills, and creativity make a positive impact.

Course Marshal Role:
Be a beacon for participants, this role will provide critical directional support for participants.

Collaborating with the Course Lead, Course Marshals will disperse to designated spots along the route to offer vital safety assistance. This includes activating crosswalks, managing pedestrian signals at intersections, and providing direction to participants. Once the Caboose Team has cleared them, Marshals will move to various locations throughout the day to ensure safety and support.

Must have:

• A minimum age of 18 years old
• Must provide own transportation to locations (via car, bike, or public transit)
• Customer service skills
• Strong sense of direction
• Strong sense of safety
• Ability to work in all types of weather
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
