Join us in making a difference at our upcoming Community Health Fair! We’re looking for friendly, enthusiastic volunteers to help us provide vital resources and health screenings to community members. This event promotes wellness and connects attendees with local health services, and we can’t do it without your support.

Volunteer Roles May Include:

  • Greeting and directing guests

  • Assisting with registration or check-in

  • Helping set up or clean up event areas

  • Supporting vendors and health providers

Mission Statement

Community Tax Centers is a Foundation Communities program that returns millions of dollars to the local economy by helping families take better control of their finances.

Description

During the tax season, IRS-certified volunteers offer free tax help to individuals and families who earn less than $60,000 a year. Additionally, CTC is helping develop a model for financial education and coaching that can connect low-income individuals and families with helpful benefits and community resources - and teach them the management skills to keep more of the money they earn. We are a nonprofit organization providing free income tax preparation, one-on-one financial coaching and assistance, college financial aid, and more.

We have multiple volunteer opportunities for the upcoming tax season (Jan - April). Training will be provided for new volunteers to learn income tax law and web-based tax software. Volunteers must be 18+
