Are you a caring adult looking to make a difference in a youth's life? Our mentoring initiative is a voluntary service that matches supportive adults (aged 25 or older) with youth in foster care between the ages of 13-23. Our mentees are looking for someone who can support and motivate them- and above all, be a consistent friend and cheerleader. As a mentor, you'll have the opportunity to teach life skills, be a role model and create meaningful new experiences together.

Mission Statement
It is our mission to protect children, strengthen families and change lives through the prevention of child abuse and the operation and management of a comprehensive, integrated, community-based system of care for abused, abandoned and neglected children and their families.
Description
Our System of Care is family-centered, strength-based, and community-driven. We believe that all children have the inalienable right to grow up safe, healthy, and fulfilled in families that love and nurture them. We are the Community Based Care entity who is contracted through DCF to oversee child welfare in Orange, Seminole, Osceola, and Brevard Counties. We have four different agencies under our umbrella that allow us to approach Child Welfare from every angle to ensure the best outcome for our children and families.
