Vet to Vet Volunteers wanted!
ORGANIZATION: Good Shepherd Hospice Tulsa
Please visit the new page to apply.
Good Shepherd is looking for Veterans who want to volunteer to visit our Veteran Patients. Veteran Volunteers have the unique ability to relate, connect, share stories about serving our country and give strength to our veteran patients. Veteran Volunteers help enhance the quality of life for veteran hospice patients during times of reflection and this creates a common bond that means so much to our patients and their families.
Volunteering with Veteran Hospice patients takes as little as two hours a week. Can you spare two hours a week to put a smile on the face of a veteran that is going through a hard time? What a wonderful gift that would be and it is so special to our patients and the patients family.
Please contact, Christa Cook at 918-743-5067 to get started. You can also email her at destiny.seaman@goodshepherdhospice.com

Description
COMPASSIONATE ABOUT CARE. passionate about life.
At Good Shepherd Hospice, we believe that health care is more than just a diagnosis and a treatment. It's a daily exercise in making this moment...this today...the very best it can be. We're here to help our patients achieve that goal - physically, mentally, spiritually...and for whatever that means individually.
We believe that in the passing of a person’s life, there are also extraordinary opportunities for compassion, reconciliation, spiritual healing, and renewal.
Our Volunteers play a vital role in our Hospice program. From working in the office, to creating special projects at home, to visiting to provide companionship and ease loneliness, Good Shepherd Hospice Volunteers make special moments happen again and again for the patients and families we serve.
Our History - 30 Years of Comforting and Serving
