Music is important in skilled nursing facilities for promoting overall wellness, improving mood, and enhancing the lives of residents. It can reduce stress, anxiety, and depression while also boosting physical and mental wellbeing. Music therapy can help residents with dementia, reduce agitation, and improve social interaction.
We are looking for volunteers that play musical instruments and are looking to utilize their musical gifts to enrich the lives of our residents. If this is something that is of interest to you, please reach out.
