Kyaninga Forest Foundation (KFF) is a grassroots NGO restoring tropical forest landscapes through community-led agroforestry and conservation. We work with 2,000+ farmers across Kabarole, Kamwenge, and Bundibugyo, customizing agroforestry systems to match local altitude and climate. We promote techniques like coppicing and pollarding, enabling sustainable fuelwood use without tree loss. Each farmer receives a tailored plan; we’ve distributed 85,000+ trees, track survival rates by GPS, and provide ongoing support.
We also partner with communities in the North Rwenzori Central Forest Reserve and Itwaara Forest on fire-resistant planting, sustainable harvesting, and reforestation.
We’re seeking a volunteer web designer/developer to redesign our site ( www.kff.ug) to reflect our mission, programs, and data-driven impact. Experience with WordPress, responsive design, and basic SEO is ideal.
This is a flexible, remote opportunity to support climate resilience and forest restoration in Uganda.
