A Timekeeper is responsible for accurately recording and managing employee time and attendance data, ensuring compliance with company policies and labor laws. They maintain timekeeping records, assist with payroll processing, and provide reports to management. This role also involves resolving timekeeping discrepancies and collaborating with HR and management on timekeeping policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurate Record Keeping:

Maintain precise records of employee time worked, overtime, and absences, using timekeeping software or systems.

  • Payroll Support:

Assist with payroll processing by providing accurate time data, ensuring employees are paid correctly.

  • Compliance:

Ensure all timekeeping practices comply with company policies, labor regulations, and relevant laws.

  • Discrepancy Resolution:

Address timekeeping discrepancies, resolve errors, and work with employees to correct issues.

  • Communication:

Communicate effectively with employees, management, and other stakeholders regarding timekeeping inquiries.
