Since 1993, the Graand Kinetic Challenge has been held on the 3rd weekend of July in Corvallis, Oregon. This fabulous event hosts teams from up and down the West Coast. Putting on this iconic event is no small feat and involves the contributions of a small army of volunteers. This position is for the well-organized individual who can help us manage that army. This is critical and much appreciated work - but you won't be alone. Our committee has experience across all aspects of the race and they will be ready to help absolutely whenever needed.

The daVinci Days Graand Kinetic Challenge Emcees or "Masters of Ceremonies" play an important role and set the tone of the event at various locations throughout the weekend. The Emcees represent da Vinci Days’ Graand Kinetic Challenge, a family-oriented event. All commentary should be G-rated, non-religious, non-political, and non-discriminatory in content. The primary focus is to help foster a fun atmosphere for racers, spectators, and volunteers and to provide appropriate race-related information to spectators and racers. If you're quick on your feet and can provide live commentary on the fly (and have a lot of fun) - this might be the volunteer position for you!

We would expect you to attend some of our planning meetings however that can be done virtually. We hope you will join us to help keep this Corvallis institution going!
