Each year Habitat for Humanity of Wisconsin River Area hosts a community event to remember those whose lives were lost on that tragic day, and to recognize those who rose up in response, both first responders and military service members.

Join Habitat for Humanity and our local veterans as we recognize our local first responders for their ongoing service to the community. Volunteers can help us pack their care packages following a remembrance ceremony. You are also invited to provide items for the care packages or write a letter of thanks for first responders in advance of the day!
