Volunteer with Meals on Wheels - June 1st!
Join us on Sunday, June 1st to help deliver shelf-stable meals to our senior clients as we prepare for hurricane season. Your support ensures our seniors have the supplies they need to stay safe and nourished in case of an emergency.
Details:
-We will load your vehicles in the parking lot of the Evelyn Rubenstein Jewish Community Center
-Client information will be provided the day of
-Deliveries will take approximately 1-2 hours
-Drivers must be at least 18 years old.

Mission Statement
The Meals on Wheels Program provides hot, home delivered meals to qualified elderly and disabled persons in our community. Each week more than 400 homebound seniors in Southwest Houston receive a noontime meal in their home, five days a week. The Meals on Wheels program serves a diverse population including ethnic and religious minorities, individuals of low income status, and those with physical and/or cognitive impairments.

The Evelyn Rubenstein JCC provides multiple volunteer opportunities, including Meals on Wheels, Foster Grandparents, Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP), Senior Companions, and more.
