ORGANIZATION: RSVP Tulsa

Court Watch volunteers serve as extra eyes and ears for the judicial system and law enforcement and the Tulsa County community. Volunteers observe cases being heard in the courts relating to family safety and then provide feedback to participants and the community about the process. The program objective is safety for victims and their children, accountability for abusers, and increased public safety for all. Court Watch volunteers also perform case research, data entry, and case tracking duties, some of which can be done as virtual volunteers from home. A flexible volunteer schedule is offered along with learning and training, mentor and staff support, and monthly coffee meetings for review and camaraderie. Courthouse parking is paid.
