We are looking for dedicated individuals who would like to make a difference in the lives of patients at the end of life. Training is provided and no medical experience is necessary.

Services may include:

  • Friendly visits with patient and/or family
  • Listening to patient and keeping company for those who may not otherwise have it
  • Reading, playing games, playing cards, drawing
  • providing a break for caregivers by sitting with a patient so that familes may take a break
  • Meal preparation/light housekeeping
  • Assisting with running errands, letter writing

Volunteers play an integral part in providing individualized care that helps meet each patient and family's goals and needs.
