We are looking for dedicated individuals who would like to make a difference in the lives of patients at the end of life. Training is provided and no medical experience is necessary.
Services may include:
- Friendly visits with patient and/or family
- Listening to patient and keeping company for those who may not otherwise have it
- Reading, playing games, playing cards, drawing
- providing a break for caregivers by sitting with a patient so that familes may take a break
- Meal preparation/light housekeeping
- Assisting with running errands, letter writing

McLaren Hospice offers hope, comforting treatment, and help in guiding health care decisions that are very important to our patients and their loved ones. Volunteers play an integral part in providing individualized care that helps meet each patient and family's goals and needs.
