Join Us for the 2025 Hall County Heart Walk - Volunteers Needed!
We are so excited to announce that Thursday, September 25, 2025, the American Heart Association is holding its annual Hall County Heart Walk at the Midland Greenway!We need volunteers to help with various tasks during event setup and throughout the event.
Who: Reliable, energetic and hard-working volunteers, at least 18 years of age.
What: The Heart Walk is the American Heart Association’s premier 5k event that promotes a healthy lifestyle in our community while raising funds for the lifesaving mission of the AHA - to be a relentless force for a world of longer, healthier lives.
When: We currently have two shifts available - both will take place outdoors for long periods of time. Lifting may be required. Work out attirerecommended.
- Shift 1: Thursday, September 25, 2025 | 10:00AM to 3:00 PM
- Tasks include set-up of event area and route, pop-up tents, decorating and more.
- Shift 2: Thursday, September 25, 2025| 3:00PM to 9:00 PM
- Tasks include manning areas during the event, photographing walkers, greeting guests, handing out water, clean-up and more.
*If the listed shift times don’t fit your schedule, no problem - we’d still love to have your help whenever you're available. We're happy to offer flexibility with shift times!
Where: Midland Greenway
682 Grove St, Gainesville, Ga 30501
Dress: Outdoor, workout attire and closed-toe, athletic shoes are recommended.
