The purpose and mission of CVLRC is to provide space and place for learners of all ages to engage in diverse, authentic, and immersive learning experiences to foster a deeper understanding and respect of who we are and our role in the world. CVLRC will realize this purpose through exploration and play, creating lifelong learners and stakeholders in our community’s future. ● CVLRC values community-centered programming, nature and STEAM-integrating learning, and authentic learner-led educational opportunities.

Description

Our organizational pillars are adventure, education, and stewardship. We focus on authentic, Place-based learning for all ages. We have an indoor play space in Uptown Columbus for sensory and imaginative play with classes, workshops and seasonal events.


Our outdoor learning space is Converge Park. A developing community park providing opportunities for agriculture, tool use, ancestral skills, messy and imaginative play, and educational workshops, classes and community building.
