BFM is seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Digital Media Production Volunteer to assist with the setup, staging, preparation, production, and publishing of podcasts, music, and video content . This role is ideal for individuals with experience in audio/video production and post-production , as well as familiarity with platforms like Podbean (podcasts), Ditto (music distribution), Descript (audio editing), and Auphonic (mastering and processing) . You’ll play a key part in bringing BFM’s digital content to life and ensuring smooth delivery across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the setup and staging of podcasts, music tracks, and video recordings.

• Support the production and editing of podcast episodes, music releases, and video content.

• Edit audio using Descript and prepare final masters using Auphonic for optimal quality.

• Manage and publish podcast episodes on platforms like Podbean and ensure proper tagging and metadata.

• Assist with the preparation and publishing of music releases through Ditto and other digital music distribution platforms.

• Collaborate with the creative and content teams to ensure production schedules are met and deadlines are achieved.

• Help maintain file organization and content libraries for easy access and archiving.

• Troubleshoot technical production issues and ensure smooth workflow across tools and platforms.

Qualifications:

• Experience in audio/video production and editing (hands-on or academic).

• Familiarity with podcasting platforms (e.g., Podbean , Spotify ) and music distribution platforms (e.g., Ditto, DistroKid ).

• Proficiency with tools like Descript, Auphonic , and basic knowledge of other audio/video editing software (e.g., Audacity, Premiere Pro, Final Cut ).

• Strong organizational and time management skills to meet production deadlines.

• Comfort with basic technical troubleshooting for production-related tasks.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating with the creative and media teams.

• Passion for BFM’s mission and a desire to use your technical skills to advance God’s Kingdom.

Time Commitment & Availability:

• Remote volunteer role requiring approximately 6-10 hours per week , depending on the production schedule.

• Availability for team planning meetings and coordination around scheduled content releases.

• Flexibility to assist with time-sensitive production tasks as needed.
