Bilingual volunteers play an essential role in supporting the daily lives and wellbeing of families staying at RMH Pasadena. By offering their language skills, these volunteers help ensure that all families, regardless of their primary language, can fully participate in activities and feel welcomed in our community.

Responsibilities May Include:

Translate activity instructions during events and programs

Assisting staff and English-speaking volunteers with real-time interpretation during family-facing interactions

Ensuring all families feel included and understood regardless of language barriers

Role Qualifications:

Proficiency in English and another language (Spanish preferred)

Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to interpret and translate in a friendly, accurate and culturally sensitive manner

Flexibility and a willingness to assist as needed
