Greetings Potential Volunteers,

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Seattle Bach Festival.

We are especially excited to invite you to be part of something truly special: The Season Finale - Bach & Telemann Brilliance!

Join us for the spectacular conclusion to our inaugural season, an evening of glorious Baroque music featuring a full baroque orchestra, stunning choir, and exceptional vocal soloists.

The program includes:

  • J.S. Bach’s Cantata BWV 140 "Wachet auf, ruft uns die Stimme" (Sleepers Wake) - uplifting and iconic

  • J.S. Bach’s Cantata BWV 147 "Herz und Mund und Tat und Leben" - featuring the beloved Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring

  • G.P. Telemann’s Concerto for 3 Oboes and 3 Violins - a vibrant display of Baroque instrumental teamwork and flair

Imagine being part of the team that helps bring this unforgettable concert to life!

Volunteers are an essential part of what makes our performances memorable and meaningful. Your energy and support help us bring the beauty of Bach to our community.

We are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers to assist with a variety of front-of-house and event support roles during our concert cycle.

Volunteer Roles Include:

  • Usher: Welcome and guide guests, distribute programs, help with name tags, and create a warm, inviting atmosphere.

  • Ticketing/Check-In: Scan tickets, assist with guest check-in, and manage will-call.

  • Stage Crew: Assist with setup, move instruments or stands, and help keep transitions smooth.

  • General Support: Jump in wherever needed to ensure the event flows effortlessly.

Important Details:

  • Volunteers should plan to arrive one and a half (1.5) hours prior to the performance start time.

  • Roles will be assigned based on availability and event needs.

  • All volunteers will receive at least one (1) complimentary ticket to the performance they are assisting with-a small thank you for your generosity!

Founded in 2024 by renowned baroque violinist Tekla Cunningham, The Seattle Bach Festival serves the Seattle area with great performances of the masterworks of JS Bach and pearls of the Baroque. From large scale works like Oratorios, Cantatas and Passions to the chamber music and solo works, we offer you a portal into a world of beauty, passion, joy, learning and community. We believe the music of Bach and the Baroque has the power to nourish hearts, open minds and convene community.
