Senior Friendship Centers is looking for a volunteer to assist our staff with varied administrative and event related tasks at our Arcadia location. Join a great team and support local seniors in your community!

Schedule: Flexible schedule on a Monday through Friday

Location: 917 N Arcadia Ave., Arcadia, FL 34266

Reports To: Senior Service Manager - Desoto County

Duties:
* Make copies, file, scan, staple, sort, help with data entry, and general office tasks
* Help with planning and preparing for our signature "Trunk or Treat" Halloween event
* Make calls and inquiries to local businesses for event sponsorship
* Contact and follow up with event vendors and sponsors as needed
* Help on-site during Trunk or Treat on October 31st

Requirements:
* Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with seniors
* Basic computer, phone, and office skills
* Able to reliably commit to position schedule as needed
* Ability to interact professionally with all staff, clients, volunteers, and community partners
* Friendly, flexible, able to handle challenges, and able to work with limited supervision
* Must possess cultural awareness and sensitivity for all individuals and groups
* Successfully pass a Level II fingerprint-based background screening
