Are you ready to be the mentor you wish you had?

Scholar Support Network (SSN) is recruiting passionate, purpose-driven mentors for our Explore to Excel program - a 2- to 3-year journey that supports high school students as they grow in identity, purpose, and confidence.

We’re seeking adults from all walks of life - professionals, creatives, entrepreneurs, tradespeople, and those with real-life wisdom - who can commit to mentoring a student for at least 4 hours per month (virtually or in person) from September through May.

You’ll help students:

  • Build confidence and self-discipline

  • Set academic, career, or business goals

  • Discover purpose and possibility

  • Navigate life with faith, character, and hope

We provide training, support, and structured engagement so you can show up with intention - not perfection.

Mission Statement

Scholar Support Network exists to break cycles of limitation by equipping high school students with the academic, financial, and spiritual tools to succeed--whether through college or entrepreneurship. We serve those who are navigating their future without a map, giving them mentorship, mindset, and momentum.

Description

Scholar Support Network (SSN) is a faith-inspired nonprofit equipping high school students with the academic, financial, and spiritual tools they need to build a successful future-whether through college or entrepreneurship.

Through our signature program, Explore to Excel, students gain access to life skills workshops, financial literacy training, and most importantly-mentorship that helps them grow in confidence, character, and purpose.

We focus on students who are navigating life without a clear roadmap, offering them support systems that foster identity development, self-discipline, and exposure to real-world possibilities.

At SSN, we believe in the power of mentorship and community. We’re also a connector for mission-aligned organizations and individuals looking to collaborate for greater impact.

If you’re passionate about helping youth discover who they are, believe in what they can become, and take bold steps toward their goals, we invite you to join us.
