GROUP PROJECT HOST

Host groups who come the USS Midway Museum for community service projects. Volunteer groups are typically 10-20 participants affiliated with military, church, youth, corporate or other community groups. The primary tasks is to greet volunteers and provide direction for conducting basic museum tour route maintenance/cleaning. Position also involves preparing letters of appreciation. Candidates for host position must possess strong communication skills. Ability to climb the ship’s ladders and basic computer skills are also required. Shipboard experience helpful but not necessary.

Time Commitment: Two 4-hour shifts per month. Typically on weekend mornings starting at 7 AM.
