Join us in making Nepal Festival 2025 a vibrant celebration of culture, community, and creativity!
Nepal Festival is our annual outdoor cultural event that showcases live music and traditional dances from diverse ethnic groups of Nepal and the greater Himalayan region. It also features Nepalese arts, crafts, and cuisines, offering the public an immersive experience in Nepalese heritage. Our goal is to create an inclusive platform for artists and community members to engage with Nepalese culture, promoting intercultural understanding and appreciation.
As this is an outdoor event, we are seeking dedicated volunteers to help us manage various aspects of the festival, including expanded logistics for performances, exhibits, and crowd engagement.
We are currently looking for volunteers in the following areas:
Event Hosting (MC) - Help bring the event to life by emceeing performances and guiding the audience through the program.
Dance/Music Performances - Do you play a musical instrument or love to dance? Join us on stage! We have classes and rehearsals going on.
Guest Services - Assist with registration, sign-ups, raffle sales, and general information for attendees.
Stage & Sound Management - Support stage decoration, artist coordination, and technical setup (especially sound systems).
Vendor & Exhibit Management - Help manage vendor booths, food stalls, crafts displays, and cultural exhibits throughout the festival grounds.
Photography/Videography - Capture key moments from the event.
Writing & Design - Assist with event promotion, signage, and post-event storytelling.
Logistics & Setup - Support physical setup, booth arrangements, and overall site coordination.
General Volunteering - Flexible roles for on-the-ground support wherever needed.

It does this through research, performance, celebration, advocacy as well as through other relevant collaborative opportunities.
Description
- To facilitate music and culture workshops; offer lectures and residencies; collaborate and perform music, arts and cultural heritage of Nepal and Himalayan region with those from other communities.
- To educate, engage and inspire the community to foster intercultural understanding and appreciation through high quality, meaningful, and accessible musical and cultural collaboration.
- To provide a platform for musicians, artists and researchers to research, perform, promote, network and sustain activities related to music, arts, and culture.
- To support social and humanitarian causes through all forms of arts.
