The Alki Art Fair is revving up for another exciting, creative weekend, full of inspired artisans, musicians and great food. From Friday, July 18th to Sunday, July 20th, we are in need of volunteers to assist in all areas of running of the festival. Currently we are looking for help with the following roles:
- Load in: Assisting with setup or breakdown of tents, tables, chairs and helping to load/unload equipment and materials.
- Booths: Help manage the info booth. Answer questions, sell merch as well as tend artist's booths when they request a break.
- Music: Greet the musicians and assist with loading their gear on and off the stage. Assist with monitoring the parking area adjacent to the stage designated for musicians.
- Silent Auction: Set up, guard tables, collect auction items from artists, and help contact winners at the end of the day.
- Load out: Helping to confirm that booths are fully packed up and assisting with the direction of traffic.
- Clean up: Walking the promenade at the end of the night to pick up trash and address any overflowing bins.
- Kids Booth: Assist with facilitating craft activities and watching the booth.
Bonus! Those who register for 2 or more shifts this year, will receive a free Alki Art Fair t-shirt!
