White Rose Hospice - Pheonix, Arizona
Schedule: Flexible hours - weekdays, evenings, or weekends!
Commitment: As much as you would like (FREE training provided)
At White Rose Hospice, we believe every moment matters. As a Hospice Support Services Volunteer, you will help provide emotional and practical support to individuals and families during their end-of-life journey. Your presence can bring calm, dignity, and companionship when it’s needed most.
Volunteer Duties May Include:Offering companionship through conversation or quiet presence
Running light errands or helping with non-medical tasks
Reading, playing music, or sharing soothing activities
Sitting vigil with patients in their final hours
Providing support to family members
Assisting with clerical or administrative work (optional)
Compassionate, dependable individuals with a calm presence
Good listening and communication skills
Comfort with sensitive topics and end-of-life settings
Respect for privacy and cultural/spiritual diversity
Willingness to complete free hospice volunteer training (provided by White Rose Hospice)
Create meaningful connections with patients and families
Learn skills in empathy, communication, and compassionate care
Be part of a supportive and mission-driven team
Make a quiet but powerful impact on someone's life
