Mission Statement
Our mission is to facilitate services and enhance access to care for vulnerable populations by raising funds to support underfunded older adults.
Description
FCI Caring is a public nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to helping older adults, veterans, and vulnerable families remain safely and independently at home. We offer life-enhancing programs like Legacy Corps, a long-term volunteer opportunity through AmeriCorps that provides free respite care and companionship for veteran families.
We also host seasonal community events, including our Intergenerational Community Garden, which brings together people of all ages to grow food, friendships, and purpose. Garden volunteer days and workshops are posted on our website-stay tuned!
Our next fundraising event is the FCI Classic Golf Tournament on September 19 in San Marcos, supporting our mission and programs.
If you’re interested in Legacy Corps, garden events, or helping with fundraisers like the golf tournament, please reach out to our team-we’d love to connect you with a way to serve.
