LilyCare Hospice is looking for people that would like to volunteer a few hours a month. Your volunteer time is flexible and valued. You would be an integral part of the hospice team. Volunteers can make a profound difference in someone's life as well as your own.
Volunteers can work directly with patients by providing companionship, reading, playing music, or just offering a listening ear, or gentle touch. Hospice Volunteers can also work in the home office doing support projects.

The goal is to improve quality of a persons life through pain and symptom control, as well as with emotional and spiritual support. We believe the patient and family are integral decision members of the hospice team in planning care. Hospice offers an alternative to repeat hospitalizations. Hospice affirms life. It neither hastens nor postpones death but assists the patient and family in living with a life limiting illness. Hospice regards dying as a normal process at life's end which we can provide dignity and comfort for the patient and loved ones.
