Recruitment Supervisor (Volunteer/Remote)

**This is an unpaid volunteer position

Responsibilities And What You Will Do:

• Supervises a team of HR interviewers and recruiters.

• Provides leadership, support, advocacy and vision to recruiters and support staff

• Develops new strategies and programs to attract candidates.

• Works with the onboarding team to bring in new volunteers.

• Works closely with recruiting the manager and other HR supervisors to share best practices, provide assistance on critical needs and coordinate on national-level initiatives.

• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff.

• Oversees the daily workflow of the department.

• Attend weekly management and departmental meetings, and biweekly all staff meetings.

• Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.

Here’s what we’re looking for:

• Must be available to volunteer 10+ hours a week

• Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field a plus.

• Proven experience supervising and mentoring a team of recruiters or HR professionals, providing clear direction, motivation, and support.

• Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with onboarding teams, recruitment managers, and other HR supervisors to align recruitment efforts and share best practices.

• Hands-on experience in full-cycle recruitment including interviewing, hiring, training, and performance evaluation of staff.

• Exceptional organizational and communication skills to manage departmental workflows and attend regular meetings at both management and team levels.

• A commitment to fostering a supportive, efficient, and inclusive recruitment process.

• Flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed in a dynamic HR environment.
