People Serving People is looking for invididuals or a small group of volunteers to assist us with activities at our annual American Indian Heritage Day celebration!
This event is 1 of 3 events that PSP hosts for our families to celebrate the cultures and demographics most represented in our shelter. We welcome an array of community partners to help provide entertainment, family activities, and information booths on our lot throughout the day. We are looking for volunteers to help make this event a success!
We are looking to recruit 4-6 volunteers to assist us on May 22nd from 2:30PM - 7:00PM. Volunteers will assist our staff with a variety of tasks, including distributing snacks and beverages to families, supervising activitiy stations, and helping with trash clean-up.

Description
PSP is a non-profit shelter for families in transition. Located in downtown Minneapolis two blocks from the Metrodome, PSP houses as many as 350 people each night. The average stay for a family in a room with private bath is 38 days, and the average age of one of our guests is 6 years. We serve three hot meals a day and offer a wide variety of services including a medical clinic, children's programs, and Technology Center.
