San Francisco Opera Guild is seeking a few volunteers to help with organizing, stuffing, and sealing our Education Brochures. This volunteer opportunity has the following shifts at the War Memorial Opera House in San Francisco.

  • Tuesday, May 13th from 10am to 2pm
  • Wednesday, May 14th from 10am to 2pm
  • Thursday, May 15th from 10am to 2pm

This task requires dexterity if you experience pain in your hands from repeated movement, this opportunity may be challenging for you. San Francisco Opera Guild gives voice to potential through education and engagement programs that bring opera center stage into the life of the community.

Description

In 1939, twelve women joined together to raise funds for opera education and to support San Francisco Opera. Today, San Francisco Opera Guild is a vibrant organization of more than 1,000 dedicated Board directors, Chapter members, staff and volunteers. Our award-winning opera education and community engagement programs have reached millions of children and adults across Northern California.

Through our fundraising events and generous donors, more than 64,000 students in over 215 schools are inspired to make positive choices and grow to become conscientious and sensitive adults.
