Volunteer Photographer:
Capture the Impact of YWCA NYC’s Girls Initiatives & After School Programs!

Location: Manhattan and Harlem or Brooklyn | Flexible dates (1-2 days total)

Description:
YWCA of the City of New York is seeking a skilled volunteer photographer to help us tell the story of our impact through powerful, high-quality images. Over the course of 1-2 days, you’ll visit our Girls Initiatives site in Manhattan and an after-school program site in Brooklyn or Harlem to capture candid, vibrant photos of our students and programs in action.

Your photography will help elevate our communications, website, and fundraising materials-ensuring the brilliance of our young participants and the energy of our programs are fully seen and celebrated.

Ideal Candidate:

Experienced in event or portrait photography

Comfortable working with children and teens in school or community settings

Able to bring and use their own camera/equipment

Sensitive to privacy considerations; willing to work with photo release guidelines

Timing & Commitment:

1-2 days total (flexible scheduling based on your availability and program times)

Site visits typically take place on weekday afternoons between 2:00-6:00 PM
