NAMI Central Texas is seeking volunteers in Williamson County who are caretakers/caregivers and/or a family member of someone living with a mental health condition.
Our family programming consists of Family Support Groups and Family-to-Family courses for those wanting to learn how to better support their loved ones as well as their own mental health.

Description
NAMI Central Texas is a tax-exempt, non-profit organization and an affiliate of NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) and NAMI Texas.
We are a volunteer network of families, consumers, friends, and concerned professionals working together to improve the quality of life for those affected by severe and persistent mental illness. Our goal is to enable each individual affected by a mental health condition to live the best life possible. NAMI Central Texas provides a place to meet and learn from others and to let others learn from you.
We educate ourselves and others about mental illness.
We promote better treatment and support services, and advocate for research into the causes and treatments of mental illness.
We are a network of people working to improve the lives of all who are impacted by serious mental illness.
