2025 Anacostia River Festival Volunteer Corps

Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: National Park Service

Looking to score an incredible volunteer opportunity?

May 17 marks the 2025 Anacostia River Festival, a celebration of the river, those reliant on it, and its surrounding communities, and we need you to help to manage it! With live music, local vendors, rock climbing, and boat rides among the multitude of happenings, volunteers are critical to ensuring everything runs smoothly and guests have a blast.

Volunteers meet on the festival grounds at 8:00 AM to help begin setup before the party begins at 1:00 PM. Expect crowds of hundreds (possibly thousands!) throughout the day until 6:00 PM, when everything winds down. Post-event packing up goes from then until 8:00 PM, so while the role lasts all-day, it's the best day of volunteering you could ever have.

Sign up today to be part of this momentous occasion, and please also register with the organizers to secure your spot and receive important information about your duties.

Get ready for a festivus for the best of us!
