Immerse yourself in the beauty of Greenbelt Park while helping maintain its trails on May 17! This sprawling oasis is popular with hikers, runners, and other adventurers, but all that foot traffic eventually wears out the paths on which they depend.
Gather at the Sweetgum Picnic Area at 9:00 AM to grab tools and receive a safety overview talk from a Ranger before hitting the trails to dig, carve, rake, and shape them into good condition. Please wear sturdy close-toed shoes (preferably boots), long pants you won't mind getting dirty, and bring plenty of water.
