Community Nutrition Network & Senior Services Association is looking for Cafe Volunteers for its location in Phoenix, Illinois. A Cafe Volunteer is needed on Monday, Wednesday and Friday to help set up and prepare for events and to also clean up. Another Cafe Volunteer volunteer is needed on Tuesday and Thursday to bag meals for our drivers to deliver to our homebound seniors. The schedule for both Cafe Volunteer opportunities is 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Volunteers should be reliable and able to work well with others. A background check is also a requirement for this opportunity.

Our vision is to live in an environment where seniors and persons with disabilities are valued and are an active part of our community. We currently serve nearly 600,000 meals a year to over 7,500 seniors and persons with disabilities in Suburban Cook, Kendall & Grundy Counties.

Join us for lunch!
Fight against hunger by giving back to the older adults in your community! The Community Nutrition Network needs your help serving meals at our café sites as well as delivering meals to homebound adults. These opportunities can last anywhere from 1-3 hours and are located at various sites throughout the northern Illinois area.
At The Community Nutrition Network, we strive to keep older adults and persons with disabilities an active part of their community by providing them with the support they need. Much more than a meal, our programs combat depression and isolation, offers companionship, and provides safety checks for homebound adults.
