Support First Generation students write and edit their College Application Essay as a part of our annual College Application Bootcamp. Writing coaches work one-on-one with one of our rising seniors from 1:00pm-3:00pm on May 28th, 29th, & 30th at Aurora Central High School.

At BHGHCO, education is seen as the key to self-sufficiency and college is the avenue towards a career for a stable future. For over 25 years, BHGHCO has been providing a pathway to a successful future for young people who have the ambition and determination to achieve a college education and a life of service but do not have the supports to reach this goal. We believe that motivated children can overcome significant barriers and develop their inherent talents when engaged in strong relationships and opportunities for academic and character development. By opening a doorway of opportunity for these young scholars through year-round college-preparatory supports, they are able to thrive in an environment that empowers them and allows them to develop their life skills and strengths.
