A Career Coach provides vital mentorship to college students as they navigate their career exploration and professional development. Our scholar-centered approach emphasizes guidance, encouragement, and the development of career skills that position students for success after graduation. Career Coaches build strong, meaningful relationships with scholars while helping them set goals, expand networks, and prepare for the workforce.
In this role, you will help students:
- Conduct informational interviews to learn about career paths
- Define and share their career interests and goals
- Explore job, internship, and graduate school opportunities
- Identify and develop professional skills aligned with career aspirations
- Build and refine a professional resume
- Prepare for interviews through practice and feedback
- Reflect on mock interviews to improve performance
- Develop a strong professional identity and personal brand
- Navigate challenges and career decision-making with confidence Career Coaches engage with scholars primarily through phone, text message, email, and video calls, offering flexible, consistent support throughout the academic year.

Description
A college coach provides critical guidance to high school students during the college application and financial aid process. Our student-centered approach emphasizes the guidance and advocacy of college coaches who support students in making informed decisions based on their needs and preferences. As part of the college application process, coaches build rapport and meaningful relationships with their students.
In this role, you will help students:
-Explore college options and find colleges that are a match and fit
-Develop and edit personal statements
-Fill out financial aid applications
-Review financial aid award letters
-Make final college decision based on available options
-Search and apply for scholarships
-Stay organized during the application process
-Resolve college and application issues
-Work with students via phone, text message, email, and video calls
