Are you looking for a rewarding way to give back this summer? Join our hospice volunteer team and bring comfort, companionship, and care to patients and families during one of the most important journeys of their lives.

Whether you’re a student on break, a retiree with time to give, or simply someone with a compassionate heart, we welcome you to be part of something truly meaningful.

Opportunities include:

  • Friendly visits and conversation

  • Reading or playing music

  • Running light errands

  • Supporting families and caregivers

  • Office and administrative help

No medical experience is needed-just your presence and your willingness to help. We provide training and support to ensure you feel confident and prepared.

We ask that new volunteers commit to 4-6 hours per month and remain active for at least three (3) months. Volunteers will receive ongoing one-on-one support from our staff, and will be invited to regular education opportunities and appreciation events throughout their service.

To ensure the safety and readiness of our team, all volunteers must complete an application process that includes:

  • Interview
  • Background checks
  • Orientation class
  • Fingerprinting
  • TB testing

The CorsoCare Hospice Volunteer Program exists to provide uplifting support, life enrichment, companionship, and supportive presence to our end-of-life patients and their families. This is achieved through the following: compassionate care, consistent training, targeted Plan of Care, and therapeutic Interventions. In accordance with State and Federal Hospice Regulations and our governing philosophy of 1440 Focus, we strive to create the best experience for our patients and to meet their specific needs by creating the "absolute best experience with every person, in every interaction, every minute of every day.
