ORGANIZATION: Success in Style

Volunteer with us at Success in Style located in Savage Mill, MD.

Retail shifts involve running our shops Charity's Closet or Charity's First Picks from either 10am-2pm or 2pm-6pm. Volunteering in our retail shops involves warmly welcoming our clientele and customers, opening/closing the stores, refilling the shops with product, and managing the register. We ask new volunteers to commit to training with one of our volunteer trainers for two shifts. After training, most of our volunteers sign up for shifts about 2-4 times a month at least. Shifts are Monday-Saturday 10am-2pm or 2pm-6pm and Sunday 11am-2pm or 2pm-6pm.

Success in Style supports in-crisis individuals pursuing employment. We provide image consultation and a professional wardrobe for disadvantaged people entering the work force. Our volunteers support our mission by uplifting our clients and helping them show off their best, most professional selves.
